Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms, black paint
Description: This piece is inspired by Constructivist artist Picasso. Attached to a square wooden base is a hollow rectangular wooden form that supports two wooden boxes that partially overlap. Curved wooden forms painted black are attached to this abstraction.
Signed: “NSG 82” etched on base
Note: Exhibited at Camden Art Centre, 1980. Also exhibited as #15 “Guitar Player” at Duncan Campbell’s gallery in 1994. Cost: 3,750 British pounds.
