Description: A square-shaped wooden form frames a metal balance scale on five sides, with an open side exposing the scale. A hole is drilled through the top of the frame, allowing the weight-bearing portion of the scale to stand outside of the frame. Resting on the surface of the weight-bearing platform is a wooden etched sculpture of a person standing in a posture of worship.
Signed: “NSG” etched onto side and bottom of back
Note: Exhibited as #5 “Weight Watcher” at Campbell’s gallery in 1996. Cost: 1,250 British pounds.
