Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms
Description: A vertical rectangular wooden frame with an oval interior frames the backside of a person’s body from his neck to his knees. A wooden spoon bowl is attached to the top of the frame to form the back of this person’s head. A wooden form with a curve in its center represents the person’s body, the convex curve representing the person’s buttocks that pokes though the frame. The portion of the wooden form below the buttocks splits vertically, representing legs. Two thin, long, straight wooden forms are attached on either side of the shoulders to represent arms.
