Description: A wooden assemblage represents a person who appears as though he or she is performing a ballet jump known as the Changement. A rectangular wooden cutting board placed vertically represents the dancer’s body. The handle at its top represents the dancer’s head. Attached to the board are wooden forms that represent appendages. Two identical wooden forms that appear to be arms of hangers are attached to each side of the cutting board,  representing outstretched arms. Two other identical wooden hanger arms with a small indentation on each tip represent legs with pointed toes. The legs are crossed one on top of the other, with toes pointed downward. This person appears to be jumping gracefully, perhaps in a Changement.
