Description: Assorted wooden forms are assembled to represent a figure sitting in profile, with his forlorn face turned towards the viewer. The figure’s body is represented by a single, lumpy form, with a worn black finish. One arm, hanging by his side, is attached. The figure’s head is formed by a large wooden ring, which also shows significant wear. A “T”-shape is formed by thin wooden strips. The vertical strip forms a nose, while two small semicircles perch on the horizontal strip to form eyes. A down turned slice of a thick arc is attached to the outer ring, representing the figure’s frown.
