<strong>Description:</strong> A woman stands with her arms at her side. Her shoulders slouch forward and her gaze is cast downward in a posture of melancholy. A single form represents her body in profile, attached to which a round form represents her head, also in profile. A smaller round form attached to her body represents her breast, and a long, narrow rectangular form represents her arm. Identical forms are attached on the reverse side of this piece, to represent the opposite side of her profile.<br />
One edition of this piece is entirely painted in silver other than the round base, and a small circular portion on her head on both sides of the piece, representing her eyes. The other editions of this piece are not painted. Both the silver-painted edition and the unpainted edition are shown above.<br />
<strong>Signed:</strong> “N.S.G” is  imprinted onto the base of each as well as the number edition. “2/5” is imprinted onto base of the silver-painted edition. Additional known editions include the printings &#8220;3/5&#8243;, &#8220;4/5&#8243; and 5/8.&#8221;<br />
<strong>Note: </strong>An unpainted edition was exhibited at Duncan Campbell’s gallery in 1994 as #14. Cost: 1,800 British pounds. Another piece was exhibited at Campbell’s gallery in 1996 as #7. Cost: 1,000 British pounds. The accompanying catalog noted an edition of five pieces.</p>

Their bodies are represented with the remainder of the form that, on the older brother is long and straight and on the younger brother is shorter and curved. Long, thin forms represent the boys’ arms. The younger brother’s arms are swung around his older brother’s shoulders, and the older brother reaches behind him to provide additional support. Small forms represent the boys’ facial features. The piece is attached to a tall, cylindrical base.<br />

The friends are fashioned from one unified “u”-shaped form that extends into two separate beings. Identical in form, each friend’s head is a flat disc, with small circles imprinted onto their surface, representing eyes. Bracket-shaped forms represent their noses. The friend on the left’s head is smaller and is located slightly lower than his friend&#8217;s on the right. Their arms are curved and extend from their bodies. Each with one arm raised, the friends appear to slap “high five” to each other.<br />
