Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms, metal toe springs from shoe lasts, metal coil
Description: Two curved metal toe springs taken from shoe lasts represent a dog’s legs. The wooden ball portion of each toe spring represents his paws, which attach to a narrow, rectangular base. A wooden form spans the other end of these two springs, representing the body of the dog. A small metal coil projects from the end of this form, representing the dog’s wagging tail. An additional wooden form is attached to the opposite end of this form, representing the dog’s head.
