Description: The toe ends of three wooden shoe lasts are placed on a thick, round wooden base. One shoe last is larger than the other two, which are identical in size. The larger shoe last represents the head and face of a worshipper.  The protruding area that reinforces the instep of a shoe represents the worshipper’s nose. Across from this shoe last, the two smaller toe portions of wooden shoe lasts face one another along the surface of the bottoms of the shoe lasts. They represent two hands in a position of worship.
Signed: “NSG” written in marker on bottom of base
Notes: Title of work communicated through a collage of letter cutouts on bottom of base, and refers to Henry Moore, the British sculptor. Exhibited at Camden Art Centre, 1980.
