Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms, wooden shoe lasts
Description: Two wooden shoe lasts represent the face and ears of a dog. The heel and ankle portions of both shoe lasts are attached back to back, representing the dog’s face. The toe portions of the two shoe lasts point upwards, representing the dog’s ears. Attached to the surface of the dog’s face are wooden forms, representing the dog’s eyes and nose. A wooden form is attached below, representing the dog’s tongue, which hangs from his mouth. A small piece of bark is attached below the dog’s nose.
