Materials and Techniques: Metal plate, antique ice tongs, red-painted magnets
Description: An antique metal pair of ice tongs with red-stripped paint represents two mongooses. The ice tongs are placed upside down, with the tongs spread open and the handles secured to a rectangular metal plate. The pointed tips of each tong represent the head of a mongoose. A red-painted small circular magnet is attached to each side of the mongooses’ heads to represent eyes. The curve of the tongs represents the mongooses’ slender bodies.
