Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms, straw broom bristles
Description: Two identical curved wooden forms together form the oval shape that represents the body of this animal. A wooden form the shape of a boomerang is attached to the body, representing the animal’s neck and head. A hole in the tip of the animal’s snout represents the animal’s nose and two ring shaped wooden forms attached to each side of the animal’s head represent its eyes. On the opposite end of the animal’s body is a cluster of straw bristles taken from a broom. The bristles are placed in the space where the two arched wooden forms meet and its bristles point upwards, representing the animal’s tail.
