Description: Attached to a black painted vertical wooden board is an image of a plant represented by wooden umbrella handles. Each handle is split in half, providing a flush attachment to the board. The curve of each handle represents a branch on the plant. Two handles protrude beyond the upper perimeter of the board. Small wooden forms painted green make up a small portion of the central branch of the plant.
Signed: “NSG” written in black marker onto etched letters on back
Note: Exhibited as #34 “Umbrella Plant” at Duncan Campbell’s gallery in 1996. Cost: 900 British pounds.
