Description: A round wooden form painted black serves as the backdrop for this piece. A round, green felt cutout is attached at its center. Over this, wooden forms are attached, representing the bodies of two dancers with arms and legs extended gracefully. The dancer on the left is larger than the dancer on the right. Cups from a variety of wooden spoons are attached face-down, representing the dancers’ heads and torsos. A portion of the spoon’s handle is included on the dancer on the left’s body, representing her neck. This portion of the spoon is not included on the dancer on the right. Identical wooden forms that are long and narrow at their tips represent their legs. Narrow wooden forms represent the dancers’ arms. On the left, wooden utensils form the dancer’s arms, their jagged tips representing her fingers.
