One black piano key is attached horizontally beneath the word “Men” and another black key is attached beneath the word “Love.” Twelve white piano keys are attached throughout the image in groups of two. Attached to each key is a cutout of a man’s face, all from various works of art. A cutout of a reclining nude woman (Blue Nude, 1907, Henri Matisse, French, Le Cateau-Cambrésis 1869-1954 Nice, Baltimore Museum of Art) is located on the right side of the scene.

Note: This piece originally did not include cutouts of men’s faces or a reclining nude. The sheet music also read as the original title of the song, “The Man I Love.” A black key was located where the cutout of the woman now appears.
