Description: Resting on a rectangular wooden block are four identical forms of nuns. They stand in line with their heads in deference to the large cross that stands before them. Representing each nun is a leg from a piece of furniture with a white plastic wheel attached. The leg is a rounded, almost cylindrical in shape, but narrows slightly towards the end with the attached wheel. The wooden form is painted a glossy black. The white wheel represents the white coif that covers the nun’s head. Each nun’s arms are represented with strands of wicker painted black until the wrist. Their arms rest by their waists and their hands extend slightly forward. Each nun wears a cross around her neck, the cross pendant made with splinters of wood and the cord made with thin black yarn. White yarn is wrapped around each nun’s neck, representing the portion of the coif that covers the nun’s neck.
