Subject: Two friends
Measurements: 11 ¾” W x 7 ¼” D x 15 ½” H
Materials and Techniques: Bronze with patina, wooden base painted black.
Description: A black-painted cylindrical wooden form serves as the base for a sculpture of two friends, cast in bronze. The friends are fashioned from one unified “u”-shaped form that extends into two separate beings. Identical in form, each friend’s head is a flat disc, with small circles imprinted onto their surface, representing eyes. Bracket-shaped forms represent their noses. The friend on the left’s head is smaller and is located slightly lower than his friend’s on the right. Their arms are curved and extend from their bodies. Each with one arm raised, the friends appear to slap “high five” to each other.
