Description: A curved piece of wood shaped like an “X” represents a body. Steel bands curve in the outline of the head. Additional metal bands coil into spirals to form the eyes and into a circle to form a gaping mouth in the lower half of the face. The figure stands on a rectangular wooden board.
Signed: “NSG” etched onto back of the base
Note: Exhibited as #1 “Scream” at Duncan Campbell’s gallery in 1994. Cost: 1,600 British pounds.
