Materials and Techniques: Wooden sandal with leather strap, wood with applied patina and black paint
Description: A set of wooden toes is attached to an old sandal. The red leather strap is detached from its metal enclosure, allowing the strap to loosen to accommodate the five dark grey wooden shapes that represent toes. The toes extend from under the leather strap until the tip of the sandal. The large toe and pinky toe extend off the sides beyond the sole of the sandal. Black paint on the largest toe represents a toenail.
