Description: A stylized crow sits with toes pointed upward, legs splayed in a ninety-degree angle, looking over his left leg. His beak is slightly open, exposing his tongue as he grins or laughs. Small circular pieces of metal represent eyes.
Signed: “N.S.G.” imprinted onto leg
Note: Exhibited as “Wise Guy” at both exhibitions at Duncan Campbell’s gallery. Cost: 1,500 British pounds. In 1994, numbered “31” and in 1996, numbered “22.” According to both listings from the exhibitions at Duncan Campbell’s gallery, there are nine editions of this piece.
