Materials and Techniques: Wooden blocks, straw bristles, white plastic
Description: Six long, rectangular wooden blocks form a standing figure. Four of the blocks are assembled to form the face of the figure, while the two other blocks are attached vertically below them, representing his legs. One of the blocks on his face projects past the surrounding blocks, delineating his nose. Protruding straw bristles splay beneath his nose; representing his mustache. Two of the wooden blocks representing the plane of his face have a knot on their outward surfaces that indicates his eyes. Glued to the end of each of the figure’s feet is thin, white, plastic material with a serrated edge, representing claws.
