Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms
Description: Two identical wooden diamond-shaped forms with a circular hole in each center and finished edges represent the owl’s eyes. An additional diamond-shaped wooden form the same size as the eyes represents the owl’s beak. Below this, a vertical, rectangular wooden block represents the owl’s torso, while two wooden forms in the shape of quarter-rings flank each of his sides, representing wings. Two identical wooden forms in the shape of upside-down “T”s represent the owl’s talons. The owl stands on a rectangular wooden base.
