A wooden form occupying the left register of this piece represents the profile of a man’s face. A ceramic eye is attached to its surface. A black-painted curved fragment of wicker represents his eyebrow. Below the protruding nose of the face’s profile are beige acrylic brush bristles, representing his mustache. Attached to the top of the man’s head and the upper-left corner of the frame, is a yellow-painted wooden form with appendages extending in all directions, representing a bird. A black plastic button with a gold border is attached to the head of the bird, representing its eye. Occupying the lower-right register of this piece is a round wooden form painted black. A series of twisted strands of wicker are attached to the top of this form, extending upwards, representing a tree or a plant growing from a pot.
