Description: Two wooden oars are supported by a thick, ring-shaped wooden base filled with concrete. The oars’ paddles face vertically upwards. The left oar is slightly taller than the right oar. The paddle on the taller, left oar is decorated with wooden forms that represent a face. The paddle on the shorter oar on the right is also decorated with a variety of wooden forms that represent a face. On both faces, round wooden forms are surrounded by wooden rings, representing eyes. Additional wooden forms protrude from each face, representing a nose, while an oval ring represents each of their mouths.
