Description: A variety of wooden forms represent a worshiper and a crucifix within a horizontal, rectangular wooden frame. A wooden ball is attached to the top interior wall of the frame, representing the worshiper’s head and face. Two arched wooden forms represent his eyebrows, a wooden form represents his nose, and an arched wooden form with a lighter stain represents his smiling mouth. Rising from the lower interior wall of the box are two curved wooden forms whose arches face one another, extending towards the worshiper’s face. These forms flank a small wooden cross that stands at the center, representing arms that are raised in a position of worship. On the exterior side of the lower wall of this frame are two short, cylindrical wooden forms that serve as legs on which this piece stands.
