Description: A variety of wooden discs are attached concentrically in order of descending size, to form the body of a turkey. Attached to the smallest circular wooden form that projects forward, is a wooden form the shape of the top of a bowling pin. This shape represents the head of a turkey. Its rounded top represents its head, while the neck portion of the form that narrows represents the turkey’s bill. Attached perpendicular to the surface of the form is a vertically-oriented, narrow wooden form colored red, representing the turkey’s snood. Two wooden beads painted black are attached on either side of the upper portion of the snood, representing the turkey’s eyes. The largest circular wooden form representing the turkey’s body is painted black. Projecting below this form are two wooden spatulas, representing the turkey’s feet. Projecting from the top of the turkey’s body are twelve large wooden forks that are attached in a fan formation, representing the turkey’s feathers. Each fork’s handle is painted silver, its prongs are painted white, and a brown line delineates the intersection of these two areas.
