Description: In this piece, a figure performs a headstand on a curved fragment of wooden toy railroad track. A bulb-shaped wooden form represents his upside-down head. Small wooden forms are attached to its surface, representing a nose and eyes. Two thin, cylindrical wooden sticks extend from his shoulders on either side of his body and touch the base, representing arms supporting his headstand. A narrow, wooden cone is attached to the man’s neck and extends upwards, ending in a point, representing the man’s body balanced in midair.
