Description: The image of Christ standing with his arms in a devotional pose is cut to embrace the image of a standing nude woman (Poseuses, 1886-1888, Georges Seurat, French, Paris 1859-1891, Paris, The Barnes Foundation) from behind.
Signed: “Norman S. Green ’73” written in pen on front right-hand corner (signature and date partially obscured by tape frame)
Note: From the Pictorial Puzzler Series. Back label identifies piece as #24. Christ and the girl are also mentioned on label, but artists are not identified.
