Description: A long, narrow, vertical wooden box with two walls removed represents the torso of a man seated on a stool. The box is painted black. Its remaining walls form the front and right side of his torso, leaving the open side of the box to represent his back. The image of a human spine with labels lines the reverse side of the man’s torso, which is exposed due to the absent walls of the box. This wooden box rests on a wooden block. A painted black wooden form extends from his torso over the right angle of this block, representing the man’s legs, bent at the knee in a seated position. Two painted black wooden toe forms, removed from shoe lasts, are attached at the bottom of his legs to represent his feet. Attached to the top of this man’s torso is a vertical wooden block representing his head. A bracket-shaped wooden form protrudes from his face, representing his large nose. A painted red, narrow oval-shaped wooden form is attached under his nose to form his mouth.
