Materials and Techniques:  Wooden artist’s palette, black marker
Description: An old wooden artist’s palette represents the profile of a person’s face. The curve of the top right-hand region of the palette represents his forehead. The lower right corner of the palette represents his nose and chin. The palette’s finger hole represents his eye. Two wide arches are drawn onto the palette with black marker, one representing an eyebrow and the other, drawn upside-down, representing his smiling mouth.
