Materials and Techniques:  Wooden forms
Description: A horizontally oriented, rectangular, dark wooden form with finished edges serves as a base for the smaller wooden forms that articulate its surface. Wooden sticks with small holes on both ends extend horizontally across the upper and lower registers of the surface of the base. On the lower register, five sticks are attached in an alternating fashion: on the wider side of the stick and on the narrower side of the stick, creating a pattern. On the upper register, two of these sticks are attached, one on its narrower side and the other lying flat, on its wider side. In the center of the surface are two identical arched wooden forms that are situated side by side. One upside-down and the other right side up, they partially overlap.
