Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms
Description: A horizontal wooden form rests atop two vertical, parallel wooden forms representing the body and legs of an animal. A small rectangular wooden form with a rounded top is attached to the main body of the animal by a cylindrical piece of wood, representing the animal’s head and neck. A long cylindrical wooden form is attached to the back end of the animal’s body and points diagonally upward, representing the animal’s tail. Additional wooden forms are attached to the flat back of the animal, in the shape of a seated man. A wooden disc represents his head, a vertical rectangular wooden block represents his torso, and two identical wooden forms intersect the bottom of his torso perpendicularly, representing his legs in a seated position. His legs are spread at a 90 degree angle, with a small cylindrical wooden form of a slightly lighter color protruding from between them, representing his phallus. Additionally, two half-ring shaped wooden forms of the same lighter color are attached to the sides of his torso, representing his arms.
