Materials and Techniques: Wooden forms
Description: Resting on a thin, wooden half-circle is the form of a man in a seated position. A thin, oval wooden shape represents his oversize head. Hollow cylindrical wooden forms stained blue represent his eyes. A triangular form with its curved side facing the viewer represents his large, protruding nose. A curved wooden shape attached under the nose represents his smiling mouth. Directly beneath his face is a horizontal rectangular shape with rectangular shapes with rounded ends extending perpendicularly from both ends, forming an upside-down “u” shape. These forms represent his shoulders and arms. A cylindrical wooden form extends from his shoulder area to his legs, representing his torso. Two wooden forms intersect the bottom of this cylinder, representing his out spread, legs. A small cylindrical peg with a narrower, darkened tip extends outward between his spread legs, representing his phallus.
