Materials and Techniques: Wood salad tongs with bronze cast
Description: A stylized man walks on a round, bronze base. The rounded tong handle represents his head, while the parted tong legs represent the man’s legs. His arms and hands are made from the other tong handle, which is split horizontally in half and then attached to the lower register of the other tong handle. A small segment of each hand is removed, representing fingers.
Signed: “NSG 1976” inscribed onto base
